First off, the last blog was not one daughter it was a combination of his two daughters and a family friend. Although, any one of us would like to take full credit for it we cannot unfortunately.

Next, dad's recovery is fast and fantastic. He was called a "champion patient" last night, and we are all constantly hearing how well he is doing and how quickly he is recovering. He woke up yesterday and was talking and visiting with family. He looked a tad zombie like but it is expected. Today when we visited him, he had more color in his face and was talking better. He was sitting up and eating some breakfast and doing his breathing exercises as well. Dad is looking and acting extremely well, and he should be moving out of the ICU and into his new room late this afternoon.

Third, we would like to ask that no visitors arrive at his hospital unless we have talked to you personally.

Finally, it is really great to see everyone looking out for him and checking back at this blog so often. I'm sure once he sees how many people have been reading this he will be impressed and flattered. We would like to make a special thank you to all the snopesters out there. We know of our support here in Lansing but it has been very touching to see so many of you from all over who care as well. Thank you all for keeping our father in you hearts and prayers.

P. S. I'm sorry that this entry lacks the common humor of the previous ones.

We are all very pleased to read of the success of both operations for Ms. LJ Foxy Stegman. The only issue we at Sunsets can foresee is that Foxy is likely to have some serious competition for roles now that he is a she. :o)

We miss you Larry, get well soon so we can all have a blast again.

Speaking as one of the very few people who had the chance to see 'Foxy' before the CIA lockdown, let me take this opportunity to relate a couple of observations. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, by any means, but here's the story you haven't heard. Sure, his children seem to think his surgery was a success, but 'Foxy' indicated concern about the catheter tube in his penis. You read that right. Penis. Was the surgery a success, and s/he's just too drugged to realize s/he no longer has a penis? I didn't inspect. I'm just trying to bring you the Foxy News. We report. You decide.

So good to get the happy update on, er, Ms. Stegman. Blue toenail polish, very nice touch! You took pictures for the family album, right?

You are, still, in our prayers and thoughts.

After finally catching up on all the blogging with a bit of crying and a lot of laughing.... Larry I love ya! I am SOOOOO happy things are going well! And I'll be on your doorstep as soon as the "all clear" is given.

Get well really really quickly because my show starts rehearsals in September now (we moved it). And now with your sex change - or partial sex change since you still have a penis -- I could have you play both of the twins at once!

All kidding aside - put you, your sweet girls, and your health first first and first. We need you around - you've added so much to all the lives you've touched in ways I don't think you even know.

Kerry
